Around 8000 Ahmednagar children tested positive in May 

In Maharashtra, Ahmednagar district around 8000 children was tested positive in a single month of May. The situation is worsening day by day. Some states' situation is getting better and in some states worsening. Rajendra Bhosale, collector of Ahmednagar confirmed this, he said " In May alone 8000 kids got positive. This is worrying."


In concern of precautionary measures to be taken for kids, Abhijit Bhosalea local corporator informed, "We have prepared this Covid ward for kids so that if and when the third wave comes, we are prepared. And kids will not feel they are in a hospital but instead will feel they are in a school or a nursery."


Maharashtra Chief Minster Udhav Thackray has extended the lockdown in Maharastra till June 15. There is some relaxation in some crubs from today. All the shops engaged in essential goods and services were open from 7am to 11am, from today they will be open from 7am to 2am.
A great amount of traffic on road was seen in Mumbai and they were warned of opposing curbs again.

As of now, 20 states will.be implemented with relaxation curbs. Cities with more than 1 million populations with high positivity rates will be kept out of the list of relaxed curbs. Pune is still out of the list as it is having a more than 10% positivity rate.
